19 April 2017
2016 was a record-breaking year for Nice UK and 2017 is shaping up to be even more successful. The last few months have seen some very exciting new automation projects, with Nice UK products being selected to serve famous landmarks and ground-breaking research projects alike.
Nice was recently chosen to provide barrier access control at Loch Lomond’s iconic golf course and picturesque landmark Inverness Castle. The dlr LexIcon Library in Dublin, a famous modern building in the cultural centre of the Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown area, chose Nice UK to supply the motors for its internal blinds system. In all cases, Nice products were the perfect choice due to their reliability, state of the art technology, ease of use and installation and stylish design.
Nice Toona 4 motors were selected to automate the gates at the GATEway Project, Greenwich. The £8 million research project looks into the legal, technical and social challenges associated with the coming rise of automated vehicles as they become a reality on the UK’s roads.
These successful projects prove that Nice UK is the first choice for safe, well-designed automation solutions. With many more exciting installations planned for the months to come, 2017 is shaping up to be one of Nice UK's best years yet.
